These earrings were made using real local mushrooms grown in Colorado! The mushrooms were dried and hand-painted in eco-friendly resin. Because real mushrooms are used, each item is unique and special. Every pair is one-of-a-kind, so the pair you see pictured will not be the one you receive.

The mushroom caps vary in size! Please understand we cannot give you exactly what the picture looks like because they are all so different. Medium mushroom earrings will have a larger cap and stem to them overall though. We use different varieties of mushrooms for our jewelry, so the caps can be brown or they can have a red/brown color to them it all depends on which variety we used :)

We use surgical steel hypoallergenic earring hooks for our jewelry.

***Due to the fact that these earrings were made from mushrooms they should not be worn while swimming or taking showers. They are very delicate, so please handle with care. You may find imperfections inside the resin coating or fruit such as tiny air bubbles. The shade of the earrings can also fade over time due to sun exposure, oxidation and nature running its course.***

I purchased the blood orange and mushroom earrings and I absolutely love them. I get so many compliments on specifically the blood orange ones :) such a great find!

broke after 1st use

I am absolutely obsessed with the style they’re beautiful truly- I literally have kept them in the box until I decided to wear them for the first time the other day- and maybe 30 mins into wearing them (with my hair pulled back) one the earrings ends up sliding out of my ear and drop and cracks in half. Maybe adding a rubbing bit to keep them in place it’s kind of heartbreaking to have spend $60 to get 30 mins of use out of them.

So many compliments!

I received these as a bday gift and in only a couple of short months, they are easily my favorites. I now joke that I should carry a clicker to count how many times I receive a compliment when I’m out and about with my mushroom earrings. They pair with so many colors and outfits. I have black hair and surprisingly these earrings pop more than I expected! I love referring people to this site and plan to get gifts for others who have commented along the way when it’s their special day! Nice work!
