Our Story
Slices Of Citrus is a real fruit & vegetable jewelry company founded on sustainability and nature preservation! We love nature and all of her beautiful patterns, so we hand slice and paint real fruits & vegetables with an eco-friendly resin to preserve them and turn them into wearable art!
Our one-of-a-kind creations are a fun way for us to share our love of nature with the world & encourage the vegan and sustainable message. Every pair is made with love, 100% vegan and cruelty free.

Our Citrus Journey
After wearing real orange earrings on my ears for years I had the juiciest idea to transform all of my favorite patterns in nature into wearable art. I wanted to wear dragon fruits, mushrooms, and pineapples on my ears, and most of all I just wanted to express my love of fruits and vegetables through the jewelry that I wore! Soon enough, wherever I went, people wanted to buy my earrings. So, off I went to shows, festivals & events around the West Coast selling my Slices! No one had ever heard of fruit or vegetable jewelry before, so it was a real treat to see everyone's reactions when they saw it for the first time :) Pretty soon, I couldn't keep up with everything on my own, so my partner Eric jumped on board full-time to help make it all happen!
In order to make Slices Of Citrus successful, we made the decision to end our lease and hit the road so we could save money and grow our business! We traveled all around the country to different farmer's markets, festivals, artisan shows and vegan events selling Slices Of Citrus! We lived in our custom built Honda Element that Eric made and traveled to all of our shows like that until one day we decided we had outgrown it and needed to upgrade into something bigger!
Eric put his carpentry skills to work yet again and built us a custom, solar-powered cargo van that we traveled the country in for our events. For the last 5 years we have been experiencing #VanLife and traveling America selling our real fruit and vegetable jewelry. Most of our business has been through the in-person connections we have made traveling to different places and shows and collecting new fruits along the way.
The magic of fruits and vegetables healed our bodies and inspired us to become vegan! Our growing company inspired us to want to leave a smaller footprint and become more sustainable and now we want to spread that message to the world with our art!
We could not be more grateful for the support we have received from our ever-growing Citrus Fam and we are so thankful to be able to do what we love for a living! We can't wait for events to happen again so we can get back on the road and see you at a show near you. Until then, sending you peace, love and citrus bliss!
